Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked at my lesson barn in summers previous as a tacker/groom/ riding hand for summer camps. My responsibilities have included grooming and tacking horses, feeding, watering, and helping in the arena with set up and teaching the kids basics.
Equine Work Experience
I have been riding for 10 years. I have shown in IEA for the last 7 years and have shown in the last 4 years in IDCTA mini events and schooling shows. Ive have worked with green babies up to schoolmasters
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden everything from schoolmasters to green beans and everything in between. I mainly do hunter jumpers and eventing. Ive never ridden in any rated shows as I dont have the money but have been to quite a few schooling shows both hunter jumpers and mini events, my most recent being the Silverwood schooling show. I currently have a shareboard on a six year old OTTB that I have lengthened her skills and athleticness over the year Ive been with her. I also have experience with many others!
Competition Details
I have competed, I have never worked officially as a groom but at shows where im done with the classes for the day I will help out with tacking, mounting, mucking, feeding, watering and grooming. I have shown in IEA hunt seat, ISHJC hunter jumpers, and IDCTA mini events for the last 4 years.
