Bio
I have been riding since I was eight, competing at low levels in jumping but have never owning a horse myself. I am currently playing polo at my university and am loving the new discipline. I am a hard worker and passionate about anything horses.Duties of Current Occupation
I am currently the barn manager for my polo club. I am responsible for leading and teaching tack cleaning, game day tacking and washing, and I am the go to person about any issues regarding cooling down horses.
Specialities
While I have not lead a team in a horse environment, I have experience in being a supervisor. I am currently the student supervisor for out student workers and I during my last year working at my summer camp, I was promoted to being the assistant director for my program.
Type of Ride Work
I know how to walk, trot, canter, jump, and play polo. All of these skills are at an intermediate level. For example, I have no experience with asking a horse to frame and the highest I have jumped out be 3 ft. For polo, I am able to exercise up to three horses at once and I am confident on fast and nervous horses. Many of my trainers have said that I am a very calm rider with a light hand.
