We are looking for an Assistant Barn Manager with a passion and extensive knowledge of horses in a western trail riding environment. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter that is capable of being a leader in the organization.
3+ years horseback riding experience Comfortable around horses and people! Worked two summers as a counselor at a local camp for kids with developmental disabilities. Bachelors degree in psychology Experience starting over in a new location I am hard-working, with a no-drama, positive attitude! Physically fit, and capable of lifting as needed!
Gained experience in time management skills, and the application of hard work. Obtained multitasking ability by consecutively having an on-campus job, participating in a nationally competitive cheerleading team, and completing classwork.
I grew up going to local horse summer camps, volunteered at a local barn with 20+ horses one year prior to working, then worked 2 years as a trail guide. Duties performed were: stall mucking, some barn maintenance, turn out to pasture, giving basic riding instruction to the public, and leading trail rides. As well as basic grooming, saddling, and feeding of horses.
