Equine Work Experience
I rode and showed gaited horses and a little ranch riding from elementary to high school. I was involved in nearly aspects of care for the lesson horses in the program. After graduating high school, I was hired to help manage a private miniature pony breeding program. I lived on site and was responsible for all aspects of care for 15 mini ponies and 5 horses. This included feeding, medicating, cleaning barn, grooming, exercising, scheduling vet care, foal watch, grounds maintenance, and regular handling of all horses, including mini studs. I have not been a part of the equine world in about 5 years, but I would love to find a fulfilling career within it.

Last rode flatshod Tennessee Walking Horses as a teenager.
