Blue Skies Riding Academy, Emerson, GA — Farm assistant August 2012 - August 2018 (volunteer), August 2018- August 2022 -Distributed grain to 40 horses in the morning and evening shift -Cleaned, bathed, walked, and transported 40 horses to their appropriate stall or pasture -Cleaned 20-plus stalls each shift -Restocked the supplies needed for the farm -Special care for the many rescue horses including walking, grooming, cleaning -Mentored and educated students on the behaviors and needs of the horses -Taught younger students riding and horsemanship lessons -Rode and competed with horses for 12 years -Limited tractor experience -Distributing hay to 10-plus pastures

Our barn mostly had Off the track thoroughbreds. We were donated a horse from the track and I started training him with no previous training on him other than racing. Trained until cross rail level and found old injury. Another horse was donated with limited jumping experience and trained for many years to eventually compete in 1.0 and 1.10 meter. Exercised and trained many horses on flat and jumping. Taught some lessons to younger children. Would have been assistant trainer, but moved.

I rode and competed in English for 12 years. My latest couple of years I competed in jumpers at meter and 1.10 height. I rode an off the track thoroughbred and trained him from his very limited experience. I rode at a rescue farm exercised and lessoned on many different horses for practiced. I showed in GHJA locally, A, and occasionally AA rated shows. Won champion of my division in medium ponies and .80's jumpers when I was younger. Tons of experience with the horses in various environments.
