Duties of Current Occupation

Colt starting is my most common trade. I have started horses and ponies for a large variety of disciplines. I have worked in every facet of the equine industry from vet tech to wild horse management and jockey at a race track. Refer to CV for details

Equine Work Experience

I learned to ride hunters jumpers from age 6-17. My first colt I started was working in Wyoming as a wrangler at age 17. from there I worked for english hunter jumper clients, dressage clients, barrel racing clients, cutting horse clients, roping clients, race horse clients, etc. My resume will explain it all.

Specialities

Colt starting or restarts on problem horses are my specialties. I typically take the cases no one wants or have had no success with. My training program is personalized to the horse and rider in order to obtain desired results. I have started wild horses and feral horses as old as 7 years old. From my time working with a performance vet I have incorporated physical therapy techniques into my training program to improve balance, strength, and soundness in my horses. Refer to resume for detail.

Type of Ride Work

I have started horses under saddle. I have started horses on jumps. I have started horses on barrel patterns. I have started horses in training level dressage. I exercise ride. I have been asked to get on horses to ride out the buck. I am a modern day cowgirl that can ride just about anything. Please refer to my resume for more detail. It is a 30 page government resume. You will get a good idea of what I am capable of.

Competition Details

I have not yet funded my own riding career to the level I am capable of. Typically I rode client's horses for them to prepare them for competition. I have however competed in eventing shows, dressage, hunters/jumpers, race track, barrel racing, and competitive trails. It would typically only take a few wins on a horse I am working with for it to get sold out from under me. This was perfectly fine though. My job was to put show miles on a horse until buyers would show interest.
