Qualifications
My professional background is technical, having both a BS and PhD in chemical engineering. While not an equine background, I believe me education illustrates my work ethics, discipline, and ability to learn. I began my experience with horses as an adult in 2007, and have been around horses ever since. I trained with Grant Schneidman for over 10 years. I also trained with Nicole Glusenkampf, Gigi Brittain, and attended clinics with Dolly Hannon, Janet Foy, and Michelle Gibson.

Equine Work Experience
I have experience as a working student for Grant Schneidman of Westmanton Stables, a professional dressage training facility. My duties included all aspects of caring for client and trainer's horses, including grooming, tacking horses for trainer and clients, exercise rides of horses, lunging, hand walking, feeding, blanketing, tack cleaning, cleaning common barn areas. During this time, I also learned equine first aid skills, such as bandaging legs, administering IM injections, medications, ice packs, handling horses for vets, chiropractors, etc. I also have experience as a show groom for the trainer and his horses.
