I began writing an 8 years old mostly in Western, barrel racing later moved into a venting and jumping. Worked primarily with problem horses, green horses, rehab horses and the like. I have extensive veterinary as well as medical knowledge and experience in both with large and small animals. I have management skills from years of working and not only a small hometown barn but a larger equine facility that ran everything from a rated Hunter jumper shows to team penning and cattle work. I spent my early years working for professionals who believed in breaking horses. I can cowboy. I later in life I learned and embraced a much more holistic view of care and training and partnership with these beautiful animals.

I have done a lot of work with youth programs and people with different emotional and physical needs. I have also prepared and given safety and first aid lectures and in services for both summer programs as well as permanent employees.

I have experience riding barrels, Western Pleasure, English and Western dressage, eventing, and jumpers. At my previous jobs I was typically used to help condition, supple and refine green or out of work mounts.

No I have been around competitions I have never been very interested in competing myself but I am very familiar with working had a competition Barn assisting on show days not only with the riders but the horses schooling, organizing, assisting in any of the various ways that the head trainer needs.
