- I do not own my own horse, as I have never had the opprotunity nor priviledge. If I was in the right situation, I would absolutley love to own my own horse (I have dreamt of owning my own horse for as long as I can remember).

Equine Work Experience
I have worked in an equestrian enviornment before, voluntarily because any reason to be around a horse is a dream come true for me. In middle and high school, I met and became very close with girls who owned their own horse and showed. I had the priviledge to spend many weekends with my friends, peforming the daily barn and horse duties (feeding, watering, mucking, turning out, grooming, excersizing, etc.) without direct adult supervision. Those repsonsibilities entrusted to me, and the manual labor, resulted in my confidence and independence grow astronmically. I also was given the opportunity to spend a summer caring for an Arabian horse named Penny, where I was taught the proper way to groom, care, and bond with her. I was dropped off everday that summer at dawn, and was picked up right around sundown.
Specialities
I am able to lead a team, delegate duties, and take control of stressful situations and produce exceptional results. I am a lifelong lover of horses, and have always dreamt of working along side them. I turn out efficiently and to very very high standard. I can quickly and thoroughly muck out and keep a yard tidy and visually appealing.
