Bio
I am looking for something in the Wellington/Lox area as of May 2024 - August 2024, with willingness to consider Boyton Beach - Boca Raton area starting August 2024.Qualifications
In high school, I pursued veterinary courses specifically tailored to equine care, encompassing a range of essential topics such as wound management, parasite control, breed characteristics, and color genetics. These courses provided me with a solid foundation in understanding the unique healthcare needs and characteristics of horses, further enhancing my ability to ensure their well-being and address any health-related issues that may arise.

Equine Work Experience
With over 12 years of experience in equestrianism, my primary focus lies in addressing behavioral issues in horses. Partnering with a seasoned trainer, our expertise lies in rehabilitating and training horses that present challenges to other professionals.
My skill set encompasses a wide range of tasks essential to the care and preparation of horses for competition, including tacking up, grooming, and bandaging. While I haven't yet ventured into clipping, I possess a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as necessary.
I thrive in dynamic environments, capable of managing a demanding workload of up to five horses per day (or more) with efficiency and precision. My dedication to the well-being and performance of each horse under my care drives me to excel in fast-paced settings, ensuring optimal results for both horse and rider.
Specialities
I am able to work in a timely fashion. I express knowledge with teamwork, communication, punctuality, maturity, and leadership.
Type of Ride Work
Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with a diverse range of equine personalities, from green and problematic horses to young prospects. I've successfully collaborated with OTTBs, guiding them through flatwork and jumping exercises to enhance their skills and performance.
While I haven't personally undertaken the initial training of a horse from scratch, my breadth of experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of equine behavior and training methods.
Competition Details
While I have previously competed in showjumping as well as hunters, I have not gotten the chance to show recently due to not having a horse of my own. However, my involvement in competition extends beyond the arena, as I have served as a competition groom for my trainer. This role has allowed me to gain valuable firsthand experience in the meticulous preparation and presentation required for successful competitions.
