Although I have no formalized equestrian training; I have ridden horses, wherever and whenever I had the opportunity, from childhood to adulthood. The style of riding has been Western. As a Retired Military Officer, I do consider myself a calm and confident person, a self-starter, a fast learner, safety minded and I have extensive First Aid / CPR training from the Boy Scouts and the Military. I also have great people skills. I am very confident in public speaking and in leading others.

Since Retiring from the Military, I have been a stay at home parent to my children; while my wife focuses on growing her career. As a Homemaker, I manage all details of maintaining the household.

Although I have never worked in a professional equestrian setting; I have ridden horses, wherever and whenever I had the opportunity, from childhood to adulthood. The style of riding has been Western.

I don't yet have any formal experience working with horses on a ranch or barn setting; however, I believe that I make up for that by my willingness to learn and my ability to learn quickly (on the move). No matter how much I read, I learn better by doing and I am looking for an opportunity to get hands on training.
