Have been working in the equine industry (2017/18 - current) -> multiple stable hand jobs -> internship as an assistant to an equine program coordinator for a 501(c)(3) group home

feeding (hay/grain), watering, Turn in/ turn out, mucking stalls/ pastures, general grooming/ bathing, administering meds/ general medical care, operating tractors, lifting 50+lbs, general barn upkeep/ maintenance

I have been working as a stable hand since 2017/18 - current (2023/24)

I have experiences raising a 2019 colt/gelding (purchased and worked with from 3 months till current). I have experience working with young horses, broodmares, and some stallions. I also have experience with morgan horses, thoroughbreds/ warmbloods, appendix, ponies/ minis (14.2 and below), and quarter horses (some experience with arabians, draft horses/ draft-crosses, appaloosas, and paints, among others). I am a hard worker and quick learner. I keep the stable/ yard tidy and clean.

I have experience riding western (gaming and trail), Hunter under saddle, and jumping/ flat work. Began riding as a child (6-7yrs old), but is less frequent now. I have ridden lesson horses, show horses, and some green horses. I have minimal experience colt starting but would love to learn.

I have not competed since I was in elementary school
