I've been riding for 16 years and competing (self-funded) on the HJ circuit up in NY for 6 years. Never been able to own or full lease so I've worked with/competed lots of different types from QHs at their first baby green show to thoroughbreds in the adult amateurs to warmbloods transitioning from hunters to low level jumpers to catch riding baby greens/pregreens in flat classes. Comfortable working most types of horses on the flat and very willing to learn more.
I've spent two summers working as a home base groom for a private family farm with hunters, jumpers and western horses, and been a show groom for a small family jumper barn for four years.
Hi! I'm in a unique situation- will be moving to Palm Beach County for a full time non-horse related internship from January-July. Would love to find somewhere that will give me a room in exchange for work (however I'm an amateur with USEF and would like to stay that way). Open to working early mornings, working on weekends, doing night check, etc- flexible for the right situation. Also open to jobs not offering a room but looking for a weekend groom. Also able to teach/tutor kids in music.
