Qualifications
I have been to Meredith Manor school of Equitation for half of a semester to earn my Equine Management degree, but unfortunately the school shut down before I was able to complete my degree.
Duties of Current Occupation
Attending to customers, placing and making orders, counting the drawer, closing the store.
Equine Work Experience
I have been around horses since 2008. I started working on a farm when I turned 12 in 2014, where I also started competing in county and state competitions. In my years of working, I have helped manage and train student workers, instructed beginner and intermediate riders as well as been assistant trainer at shows, exercised horses of all sizes, ages, and breeds, maintained barn cleanliness which includes but is not limited to mucking stalls, scrubbing/sweeping floors, cleaning buckets, blankets, and much more. I have also been a lead camp counselor and took care of other animals such as dogs, cats, donkeys, cows, goats, and llamas/alpacas as well as taking care of the horses on the property by making sure they are fed, healthy, and exercised.
Specialities
I have been working with horses since I was 4 years old. My passion is horses and I unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to be with them for quite some time. I have worked with stallions, foals, horses of many breeds/heights. I have been manager at multiple different businesses, as well as head keeper at a farm. I'm quick to get the job done, but always get it done right.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden most disciplines such as fox hunting, dressage, cross country, and barrel racing, but I am most experienced in hunters, jumpers, equitation, and English pleasure. I have started foals, ridden green horses and horses with behavioral issues.
Competition Details
I have been competing since 2014 and have won numerous state competitions. At almost every show I have been to after 2016, I have been competing as well as being the groom and assistant trainer, helping fellow riders get prepared to show.
