Training lesson horses and privately owned horses, groom at shows, teacher for students.
Worked at a reining and cow horse facility in Texas for a year. Then transitioned to running my own training business out of the family farm in Virginia from spring of 2018 to fall of 2019, when the opportunity to work with a dressage trainer in Kentucky presented itself. Worked there until early 2020, when I then took a break from horses and moved to Miami, Florida. Found my way back into the industry, and am currently working at a showjumper facility, since April of 2022.
Born and raised on a family farm, so experience in the daily tasks and chores of keeping a facility running well.
Leadership skills from being team captain of my travel soccer team, which transferred to being the only starting freshman on my collegiate soccer team for a division 1 university.
Highly experienced in colt starting and training problem horses.
Very educated on groundwork handling.
Highly experienced in riding young horses, specifically warmbloods and quarter horses.
Began learning dressage at a reputable barn in KY. Worked mostly as a groom and rider for the young horses.
Currently focused on the sport of jumpers, with this being my long term goal and priority. I own a 7yo Belgian Warmblood that I am jumping and competing with currently.
Recently began competing in Wellington with my own horse. Have more extensive work as a groom for the dressage trainer I used to work for, who rides at the Grand Prix level. And now presently with the barn out of Miami, being a groom for 8-12 horses per show.
