I have facilitated an equine youth program that included hands on learning in regards to nutrition, grooming, and training for five years. I have also been employed for a international level show barn that focused on the breeding and training of show jumpers and eventers for a year. During both of these opportunities, I was able to practice sole charge and delegation in many areas of equine management.
Specialities
I have worked in an equestrian facility with the following types of horses: training, sales, broodmares, and foals. Have been in a show barn facilitating FEI level care and disciplines. I have worked with neglected equine such as advanced EPM cases, abandoned animals, and malnourished young stock. I maintain an efficient and effective yard to ensure trainers, practitioners, and owners remain on schedule and in program.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience in halter breaking and surcingle work on the lunge line when starting young and green horses.
