∙ Guiding trail rides through National Forest, on and off trail, while maintaining safety of guests and horses. ∙ Guiding over-night camping trips with up to 5 guests at a time, in primitive mountain locations. ∙ Packing mules; building loads, balancing loads, tying loads on mules and horses, leading a string through the forest, delivering and packing out supplies. ∙ Packing hunters in and out of camp, and game retrieval. ∙ Guiding full day fishing trips. ∙ Maintaining healthy horses and a safe riding environment. ∙ Horse care; feeding, grooming, assisting farrier, first aid, manure clean-up, maintaining records on each animal. ∙ Maintain grounds, outbuildings, fence, and tack. ∙ Bring horses in in the mornings from pasture, pull horses for the day based on rider requirements and horse’s ability. ∙ Assure horses and mules are properly rotated in the schedule so they aren’t over-worked. ∙ Educate guests on proper riding skills to ensure safety of rider and horse. ∙Colts Etc.
