My experience with horses began at age 6 in Easton, Connecticut, many years ago in the late 1980's. I owned a horse for 5 years and trained at Lion Hill Farm (in Easton, CT), with Virginia "Gincy" Buckland until I was 16 years old. After I outgrew my own horse, I was working with a Thoroughbred Gincy rescued from the track, eventually competing with him at the Local Hunter level. In equitation, I was showing at the Limit level. I have not showed since, but ride whenever I am able.
My connection to horses is one of the most special and spiritual aspects of my life; I consider it a privilege to interact with them on any level. I would love the opportunity to regularly work around them again in any capacity and am willing to do any required task that benefits them.
Thank you for your consideration!
