Duties of Current Occupation

I currently have a small back yard farm with six horses. I handle their daily care and maintain the property.

Equine Work Experience

In the past, I rented and ran my own equine facility. I managed the care of up to 28 horses. I have also managed other large facilities. As the manager I was responsible for the daily care of the horses, any medical care they may need, injections, hiring, training, and scheduling employees, organizing and maintaining the facility, working with vets and carriers, scheduling deliveries, teaching beginner to intermediate lessons, bringing clients to horse shows, coaching IEA team, helping organize and run horse shows on property, buying and selling horses, body clipping, training horses on the ground and under saddle, organizing and running kids camp, and so much more.

I taught equine-related classes at Post University for several years.
