Equine Work Experience
I volunteered year-round once per week at Mitchell Farm Equine Retirement in Salem, CT for 4 years, during which time I mucked stalls and pastures; fed, groomed, and turned out horses; assisted at events; and worked with the Mitchell Farm team as a bit inspector at a horse show in Saugerties, New York.
Before that, I took weekly classes for three years on riding both English and Western saddle.
