I studied Therapeutic horsemanship the the University of Connecticut and am in the process of getting my CTRI certification.

Equine Work Experience
I’ve been riding since I was about 6 years old and I primarily ride English. Jumping is one of my favorite parts of riding. Over the years, I’ve participated in a few horse shows. I’ve also done some side jobs with horses, including turning them out, feeding, and mucking stalls. This past summer, I did an internship at a therapeutic riding barn, and I’ve helped with summer camps as well which included me helping with tacking and untacking before and after lessons, grooming, bathing the horses, and helping out with lessons here and there. At one point, I even half-leased a horse.
