Bio
I grew up riding English on the East Coast, then recently graduated with my Master of Social Work, and just got back from a horsepacking expedition in southern Chile. I am looking for a way to work with horses and help people at the same time.Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience and formal hunter/jumper instruction. Additional intensive experiential training in backcountry horsemanship and horse care through a Patagonia expedition, and graduate-level coursework in Human–Animal Environment Interactions.
Duties of Current Occupation
Daily horse care, including grooming, tacking, feeding, and stall cleaning; monitored basic health and behavior; handled horses of varying temperaments in both barn and backcountry environments.
Equine Work Experience
10+ years riding English hunter/jumper. Early experience in barn management (mucking, grooming, daily care). Recently completed a multi-week horsepacking expedition in Patagonia, developing advanced riding and horse care skills in rugged, backcountry terrain.
Specialities
Experience in backcountry horsepacking and extreme conditions; adaptable, calm, and safety-focused in unpredictable environments.
Type of Ride Work
English hunter/jumper with experience in flatwork and jumping on horses with varying temperaments. Basic Western riding skills; currently expanding proficiency.

Local hunter/jumper competition experience. Familiar with handling and riding in show environments.
