Duties of Current Occupation
In the winter, our operations are open for sleigh rides. I assist drivers in harnessing draft horses, driving a team of draft horses, speaking during rides providing land and ranch history, equine, and natural history information for guests.
Equine Work Experience
I have been working in barns for close to 15 years as a stable hand/working student Experience cleaning stalls/paddocks, blanketing, making grain, administering medicine and basic first aid, turnout, and tacking and untacking Volunteer at a therapeutic riding program (working with adults and children with disabilities) for over 10 years Able to drive a team of draft horses Experience leading trail rides for guests
