Please see above. Have also taken both English and Western riding lessons at three facilities in the Fort Collins area, over the past three years. I had excellent rapport and relationships with both horses and instructors.

I have worked with foals, stallions and broodmares in stall cleaning. I have occasionally helped students with calming and holding horses during examinations, helped vaccinate calves, assisted in horse fecal sampling, and taken horse temperatures for students requesting help.

I have been a co-leader for some time, but since my co-leader has recently taken medical leave, I have effectively worked with student hourly employees.

My cleaning/mucking standard is exceptionally high.

Have ridden Thoroughbreds and Quarterhorses, mostly Western, some English, mostly walk/trot, some canter, in the arena and on trails, some groundwork. I have ridden green horses, a green mule, a young horse given to spooking and bucking, and one horse too old for a lesson horse.

I have some experience with lunging and starting over poles, but not hunting, as I was more interested in learning dressage.

No experience in starting a horse, but I am ready, willing, and able to learn.

I haven't yet gotten to that level, but am extremely interested in doing so.

I helped with a summer program at a small competition yard, and would like to have more experience in this area.
