I have been riding for 11 years. I have held three positions at HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area. These positions include Camp Counselor, Lead Counselor, and Intern. Here were some of my duties: Administer medications and first aid to a herd of » 40 horses for maintenance of their specific health needs Perform daily nutritional, disease prevention, and basic care of maintaining an equine herd Schedule daily rides, groundwork, and round pen training sessions with green horses on the property Guide camp counselors in producing walk/trot and horsemanship lessons for individual age groups Oversee the safety and well-being of horse herd, campers, and counselors following a consistent set of guidelines Implement knowledge of horse care and management into daily tasks

I graduate in May 2024 from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Equine Science. I have taken extensive hands-on courses throughout my four years providing me with ample experience that I am ready to put to use!

My main discipline is English. I have successfully shown in all three rings in both non-rated and A-rated shows. My riding experience has come from 7+ different lease horses over my 11 years of riding. Currently, I ride school horses in a school program to expand my adjustability to different rides.

I have some experience in western riding and am comfortable in the saddle.
