Everyday duties are mucking, feeding, basic grooming, and administering medicine and completing physical therapy.

Occasional exercising, putting miles on young horses, working with problem horses, stud handling, and semen collection.

I have been riding for my whole life, able to go English or Western, and with specific experience in Saddleseat, Hunter/Jumper, and bridleless. I pivoted to training, competing in the Extreme Mustang Makeover youth division four times, placing in the top ten in three of those competitions. I have saddle started all four of these mustangs, and helped start or tune up green horses, mustang and otherwise, for my trainer's clients. I consult with clients on problem horses, help them troubleshoot, and do confidence building lessons. I have started horses using pressure/release methods as well as near exclusive positive reinforcement. I have worked at numerous hobby barns as a barn hand, as well as professional boarding barns. I have extensive experience around breeding programs, handling studs and broodmares, collecting semen, and socializing foals. I have some experience administering first aid and completing facility maintenance.

Handling youngstock, halter starting, riding and handling green horses, and working with untouched or skittish horses. Trained in semen collection and breeding shed handling. Lessons and confidence building with new riders and older people getting back into riding. Special interest in groundwork and liberty training, making use of positive reinforcement techniques.

Conversational in Japanese, basic understanding of Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.

I have extensive experience starting horses under saddle, and putting miles on green horses and problem horses, and on many different breeds. I have ridden both English, Western, and bridleless. Most of my experience is in the hobby setting, creating safe horses for owners to enjoy.
