Learning how to horseback ride in Western style. Familiarizing oneself with horses and learning to read their body language. Learning techniques in saddling, putting the bit and upkeep of the horses including hoof cleanings. Learning small medical techniques and medical terminology in between lessons. Volunteering by helping staff in a unique form of therapeutic activity for children and adults with special needs by providing therapeutic horseback riding.

Performing animal care including walking dogs, cleaning kennels and cages, occasionally drawing blood and administering medications such as vaccines etc.Assisting veterinarians in exam rooms, as well as assisting the vet assistants and other workers.

Providing equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) to children and adults with disabilities by assisting in the care of horses.Learning how to horseback ride in Western style. Have worked in the vet industry, have also worked with people and children who have disabilities alongside horses as well. I have also taken horse riding lessons in the past.

Assisting a nonprofit organization in a variety of tasks, focused on placing animals into homes. Educating future owners in owner responsibility, and emphasizing environmental and wildlife protection through safe housing for all domestic animals. Working with dogs, cats and horses, while feeding/walking, washing/assisting animals who need care and changing out/washing cages.
