Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Equine Management; Associate degrees in Natural Horsemanship Management and Equine Studies. Formal education in equine care, training theory, nutrition, behavior, and business operations. Licensed in KY, IN, and OH racing jurisdictions with hands-on experience under high-performance trainers.

Duties of Current Occupation

Oversaw daily barn operations, horse care, staff coordination, feed and training schedules, vet/farrier logistics, exercise riding, sales prep. Supported trainers at races, hunts, events, and sales while maintaining professional standards.

Equine Work Experience

Extensive experience in full-service horse management including daily care of 25–70+ horses, feeding and conditioning programs, grooming performance horses, veterinary and farrier coordination, sales prep, and barn management. Worked in racing stables, hunt barns, eventing programs, private ranches, and non-profit equine programs.

Specialities

Worked extensively with OTTBs, racehorses, young horses, stallions, and high performance horses. Experience overseeing large barns (60+ horses), managing staff, high turnout programs, conditioning horses returning from injury, keeping sport horses in great condition, and maintaining efficiency in high-volume operations. Strong leadership and communication skills.

Type of Ride Work

Experience riding a variety of different breed sport horses, and western horses. Flatwork on young and seasoned horses in both western and english, conditioning and rehabilitation rides, ponying horses in arena and on trails, fox hunt riding, and riding in eventing, show jumping, and dressage. Confident riding in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Not afraid to get on young or problems horses but can ride a school master as well.

Competition Details

I have competed in western disciplines (barrel racing , pole bending etc). I have worked for an ex Olympic eventer at a competitive eventing barn an I worked with thoroughbred racehorses including grooming at races at many different tracks throughout the eastern USA. I plan to begin competing in eventing, and ranch versatility this year.
