Qualifications

My degrees are not specific to horses, but I'll mention them anyway! I graduated from Brown in 2019 with a degree in Applied Mathematics & Biology. I'm currently finishing up my MBA at Stanford.

Duties of Current Occupation

I am a corporate professional with an extensive background working with horses and people. I am an MBA student looking for a role in summer 2025 that combines my love of people & horses before I return to the business world in fall.

Equine Work Experience

I've been riding and working with horses for over 20 years. My non-riding experience includes grooming, tacking, turn out, feeding/graining, stall mucking, hand walking, and lunging. I also have experience as a hippotherapy volunteer working with kids with disabilities on horseback.

Specialities

I have experience in hospitality in a non-equine role (event management, summer camp leadership, athletics coach, and head lifeguard at a country club). I am a people person and enjoy hosting guests. I believe I can combine this with my horse experience to make a great summer tour guide, wrangler, or groom.

Type of Ride Work

All of my schooling is in English, mostly Dressage. I showed through 2nd level and won state junior titles in California in training level and 1st level when I was 14. I was also a member of USPC (pony club) and took many jumping / cross country lessons (fences up to 3'). I am currently taking hunter lessons at Stanford while I finish my MBA. I've ridden a variety of horses since I've never owned one, and have experience with green & problem horses.

Competition Details

I've competed in dressage and pony club shows. I stopped showing in early high school to focus on school (and because it is so expensive!).
