Qualifications
I have not completed any equine-related courses but am more than willing and dedicated to look into completing qualifications
Duties of Current Occupation
I am a Registered Nurse with my BSN. I work in the Emergency Department at an Advanced Primary Stroke and STEMI receiving Center. I work collaboratively with Physicians to treat a wide range of patient populations.
Equine Work Experience
To be honest, I do not have any horse experience. I am currently taking horsemanship lessons but am extremely fascinated with horses and would love nothing more than to gain more knowledge and expertise in how to work with horses. I am humbled by the beauty, power, and intelligence of horses. I am willing to learn and put in the hard work to become an asset to the team. I am a quick learner and a hard worker, and if given the opportunity, would be a sponge and soak up any information provided to me to exemplify an effective ranch hand.
Specialities
I have experience in leading teams. One example is in my job as a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Department. Especially when the stakes are very high, teamwork and leadership are critical and require effective communication and willingness to learn from others. Additionally, I have been a competitive soccer player and have been a part of a team throughout my entire life. I had the opportunity to be a part of the UCLA Women's Soccer team which won the National Championship in 2013.
Type of Ride Work
I have only had the experience to ride trail horses
Competition Details
I have never competed or been involved in organising any competitions with horses
