Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.

Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. Can lounge and i would be interested to get to ride some flatwork/hacking (not necessary, just wanting i could further my skills) I would need a live in-position and would be greatful if i can take my two wellbaved cats with me :)
I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.
As I’m looking to transition into the equine industry from other fields, I don’t yet have a long work history with horses. However, none of the barns I’ve ridden at had grooms, so catching horses, doing turn out, mucking, grooming, tacking, blanketing were always part of the deal for me so I’m no stranger to hard work. I’ve led teams and complex projects in other fields, so I have a history of working responsibly and well with other people.
I’ve held responsibilities over teams and projects in other fields like publishing and tech, and I’m looking to transition to working with horses.
I have taken riding lessons off an on since childhood. Most recently I had a half lease for year on an anxiety-prone mare, and she taught me a lot about connection, consistency, and clear communication. My education in technical skills and horse care has admittedly been patchy, but I’m quick and eager to learn. I’m a very safety minded person, so even around horses or activities that are “totally safe” I remain alert and do my best to prevent potential issues before they arise. Because I pay attention to body language and the environment, I can tell when tension or confusion is starting to build in a horse, and so I can make decisions to deescalate the situation early by changing environments or infusing my own confidence into the situation to carry on with the task at hand. I’m looking to deepen my technical riding skills, knowledge of horse care, and running a successful training and boarding facility.
I am fascinated by biomechanics of horse and rider. I’ve honed my own body-awareness with regular Awareness Through Movement classes, yoga, meditation, acting classes, and living a physically robust life. As a highly sensitive, kinesthetic person, I can translate this education to my connection with horses as I'm quick to notice subtle changes in horses on the ground and under saddle and make appropriate responses. I am also aware of my own energy and how it influences the horses.
Though I’ve focused on stadium jumping, there was a heavy emphasis on flatwork in all my lessons and self-study. I’ve never officially studied dressage and I’d like to change that. I have the patience and eagerness to learn, and the physicality to do several rides a day to put my learnings into practice. Once I have more dressage and stadium jumping under my belt, I’d like to build on the little cross country I’ve done.
