Cleanliness, Organization, On time, Prepared, Friendly, Hardworking, Communicative
I started to ride and work with horses when I was 11 on my grandmother's property in Glide, Oregon. She had a few horses on this property and every summer that I was there I did most of the horse duties for my grandmother to help her out, and also because I loved being around the horses. I would muck the stalls, groom, bathe, feed, and give the horses a lot of attention. Sometimes I would even be in the pasture with them and pretend to be a part of the herd. I loved being around them so much I would be around them from the first feeding to the last every day. My grandmother unfortunately had to give up the property many years ago due to her not being able to do it all on her own. Now she currently boards one of her horses in Eugene and at that place I offer to help them any time I'm there with grooming and mucking out the stalls, and they always take me up on it and I love it. :)
cleanliness, oraganized, friendly, hardworking, determined, goal-oriented, motivated
Where my grandmother boards her horse in Oregon I am able to ride however I do not go up there regularly. I can go up to a gallop and jump over small things like logs. I’ve also been on a several trail rides over the course of my life and I've had a few professional western and english lessons.
