Documented patient medical information, case histories, and insurance details to facilitate smooth appointments and payment processing. Registered new patients in electronic medical records prior to appointment scheduling.

I spent several years learning about and caring for horses of all temperaments. I have more on-ground experience than I do with riding. I have learned proper safety around horses, basic tack for English and Western, minor health treatments, proper exercises, feeding/supplements, and more. I also have minor teaching experience. I worked several summer camps where I was responsible for instructing and overseeing one camper per week. During these camps, campers learned basic horse care, tacking and untacking, basic riding (stop/go, basic movements, exercises to practice balance or strength, etc) and whatever other information we could teach them! I have also overseen "pony" lessons which are walk-trot only lessons for young students.

I casually rode lesson horses once a week for four years. During lessons, I opted to ride bareback most of the time. Lessons always started with ground-work then transitioned into the focus of that day. Some examples of things we worked on during lessons included lateral work, walk-trot-canter transitions, horsemanship, or certain events such as gymkhana. Additionally, some lessons were trail rides instead of taking place in the arena.
