I love horses and the outdoors. I am a hard worker. I am very eager to learn, especially Equine First Aid, lounging, bandaging, clipping, and plaiting. I am interested in learning about Equine Therapy, I believe only horses have those gifts for people in need. Also, I spent my summers in middle through high school, working at a camp for the disabled. I have volunteered for the Special Olympics in New Jersey.

In NJ, when I met my best friend, Jayne, she owned a 75 acre horse farm. At that time, Jayne had 15 horses. I was taught general maintenance of a horse barn. I learned how to clean out the stalls; how to ensure the horses & foal's had water & food. I know the process of tacking up, cooling down, and turning them out to their fields. Although I am not an expert, I watched Jayne lunging, bandaging, clipping/grooming, and washing her horses. At 5, after my daughter saw her farm, she wanted to learn how to ride. Jayne's instructor began teaching my daughter. Her instructor helped me to hone in on my equine skills, especially learning how to catch them, because they would always be out in the field. We would travel to shows, it was pure joy to be around everything involved in a horse competition. I accompanied Jayne as the tack during her competitions or I would be her photographer. I learned to prepare her horse for travel, keep her trailer neat & safe & ensured promptness.
I love horses! Also, I know the importance of being a part of an amiable team environment. I know how to keep my workspace clean, neat, and professional. Excellent customer service skills comes natural to me, I love meeting new people & hearing their stories. Working in retail, I developed a sense of how I can help customers find what they were looking for. That takes focus, and a strong understanding that each client is important. Physically fit, willing to be trained w/Equine skills.
Although I have taken English riding lessons, I've never competed.
I have prepared my daughter for many hunter/jumper competitions.
