I took several equine science classes online and have attended several workshops along with working directly with well established horse trainers and teachers.

I was previously an Art Director in Advertising/Marketing and worked for companies such as Lockheed & Pier 1 Imports. I am looking to make a career change that allows me to be physically active and work with both people and horses.

I started taking riding lessons when I was 5 years old and continued throughout my life into my mid 30's. I have personally owned two Friesians and two American Paint Horses. I trained in both English and Western and have experience in Cutting, Working CowHorse, Reining, Barrel Racing, Jumping and Dressage. I am honestly a jack of all trades and expert at non but I had the pleasure of working with some of the top trainers in Texas. Riding to me was much less about competition and more about quality time/the relationship with my horses. I did compete in horse shows but that was not my main focus and I cannot claim to be an expert rider or horse trainer. I can confidently say I absolutely love horses and their care is my absolute priority.

I have worked with my own two mare that I bred along with their foals.

Previously when I was working as a designer/photographer, I shot the photos and designed magazine ads for stallions.

I have experience working with a variety of horses including two foals my mares had. I have ridden ex-race horses and horses with trauma and troubled behavior.

I have competed in the novice level in jumping, reining, working cow horse and dressage.
