5+ years of horse handling experience including working with children/disabled populations

Feeding horses (including supplements/medications),Cleaning stalls 2 days a week (making sure waters are clean and full, proper amount of bedding), orking and exercising horses (ground work, riding), Working with owners to ensure their goals are met

I started riding when I was around 15 (Classical dressage/light jumping). When I finished my AA in 2021, I completed my practicum at a therapeutic riding center in Tucson, where I ended up volunteering for over half a year, assisting with classes by horse handling or as a side walker. I began my apprenticeship at Seventy-Seven Equestrian Center in March of 2022, and have loved every minute of it. I have gained so much knowledge on the biomechanics of the horse, different riding techniques, groundwork, illnesses and injuries and working around problems that may arise.

Grooming, treating wounds, ground work, assisting farrier/vets

Groundwork - lungeing, in hand work, long lining/long reining Riding - Classical Lightness dressage/working equitation. Teaching the horse to properly bend and move their body, how to collect themselves and train them to build up strength and endurance
