Qualifications

Nope! Just personal experiences!

Duties of Current Occupation

My past job roles included, mucking stalls, grooming, hoof care, assisting with trainers, feeding/watering the horses daily. Fence checking, etc.

Equine Work Experience

I have experience with both english and western riding. I learned English first then Western- I have work experience in both, the English barn being a jumpers, Western was a Western Pleasure barn. I’ve only owned 4 horses personally. 2 were gentle geldings that i first learned my skills on. The other 2 were mares, 1 was a young mare that had just finished training and was considered “hot”. I absolutely loved her and took her home the same day I tried her out. My other mare was a mustang from Montana, she was apart of the Mustang rescue and was just as mellow as could be, she was bombproof and amazing. I also have very little but some experience in assisting training. By that I mean- tacking horses prior to lessons, grooming lesson horses on busier days, checking tack before lessons, etc.

Specialities

I’ve worked with foals before, never stallions but i’m willing to give it a shot! I also would say i’m pretty confident when it comes to knowing behavior as well.

Type of Ride Work

I’m most familiar with Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds. I have beginners jumpers experience as well as flatwork. I’ve never attempted anything outside of basic english but I would love to try!

Competition Details

I have competed, only in western shows. Grooming and preparation I can confidently say I would be good in. It’s one of my favorites for shows!
