Duties of Current Occupation
As a teenager I volunteered at a riding school, this included tacking ponies up in time for lessons, assisting both children and adults preparing for and leading in lessons. I would also ensure all horse were fed and watered throughout the day.
Equine Work Experience
Riding for over 15 years, owning my own horses for 12 years. Competed in showjumping and most recently dressage up to novice level. Strong enjoyment for flatwork and schooling and also rehabilitation of injuries. Achieved my Stage 1 Complete and now working towards Stage 2.
Specialities
I’ve worked with a variety of horses, from miniature horses to 17hh sport horses. I’ve also groomed for an in hand show on multiple occasions. I take a special interest in the rehabilitation of injured horses. I take interest in learning the best techniques to ensure a smooth recovery. I’ve been apart of tendon rehab, kissing spine, foot abscess and infection and various other injuries to name a few.
Competition Details
Teenage years competed in showjumping up to 70cm. Most recently competing in dressage and showing. Dressage up to novice level.
