Over the last 8 years i have been teaching private, and group lessons in a riding school type environment my roles have been varied to say the least with organisations of birthday parties, holiday activities such as pony days and showjumping clinics, summer camps, mucking out, vet and yard inspections, pony club riding and theory, I also train our level 1 and 2 apprentices ridden and theory. I had an outstanding ofsted review through stubbing court training and have been interested in apprenticeship and young persons training. previous to this I worked at Parklands Equestrian leading similar roles and also grooming for their son show jumper Matthew Sampson in that time I traveled to Holland and Spain with him and 8 horses, gaining tons of vital experience in the showjumping world of the riches in this i am immaculate and love to see horses looking and feeling their best.
I consider myself very hard working and thorough in all aspects of yard work and the care of horses I have lost of experience working at a fast pace and understand roles can change quickly in this industry I am very happy to work alone or as part of a team and feel I excel in both. I pay attention to detail and love a tidy finish you could say I have abit of “OCD” due to previous expectations of professional riders such as Matthew Sampson, Tom Whitaker and Hannah Esberger.
Although I still have a lot to learn I am currently riding towards stage 3 level. I am currently very egar to ride and do so as and when I have the time and.can afford regular lessons. At my current job there is very little riding in work time although the odd bit of schooling does come around I feel this is an area I really need to pay attention to.
I have had a lot of experience grooming for showjumpers a very good friend Nicola Roe who has competed at HOYS and blue chip, Matthew Sampson travelling and home groom really high standard turn out, clipping, plaiting. Hannah Esberger dressage rider worked solely on her private yard based at home prepared her horses for training sessions with Carl Hester. Also worked for Tom Whitaker for a short while at his yard based is Sussex as he is a friend of matthews and he recommended me.
