I am looking for home groom position. Closer to Hamburg area, the better. I can clip, plait, bandage, treat wounds etc. Willing to go shows too. I am a teamplayer, but can work solo too. Horses health is my main priority. I am looking for long time solution. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. I have recently passed my Theory Test and am waiting for a date for my Driving Test
I worked for Hunters Lodge Kennels for a few weeks before Christmas walking the dogs, cleaning kennels and washing feed bowls and bedding but did not like the work! I stayed until Christmas week at their request as they were short staffed and busy.
I have been riding for about 11 years and own 2 horses, a cob gelding and an Arab/thoroughbred mare. When I left school I attended Moulton College and completed a Level 2 Horse Care Diploma which I passed with Distinction. Since leaving college I have worked for Brook Stables in Millbrook for about 10 weeks, maintaining the paddocks and catching in the ponies, and then Bramble Stud in Chicheley where I worked with the mares, foals and stallions; mucking out the stables and turning out and bringing in the horses at the start and end of the day. I also spent work 3 months working for Ashton Vale stables looking after the livery horses.
I am punctual, hard working and used to working outside in all weathers.
