Mucking out. Grooming. Feeding. Tacking up. Maintaining yard. Caring for horses.
Started working around a friends horse about three and a half years ago, my friend started buying young horses and training them to do different tasks and I learned of to muck out and lead horses by head collar and lead rope. I also learned to put tack on individual horses and where to position it correctly and insure it fits correctly, I also learned to lunge a horse a little bit.
I started studying Level 1 horse care at Myerscough College in Croxteth Park and have developed many skills and I'm currently Studying horse care level 2 and will finish 27 of June 2019.
I Would consider myself a person who works best on the ground, I enjoy working in the stables with horses and getting to know there personalities and exercising them on lunge line and grooming then. I also like to know they are sleeping in a clean stable and they are kept in good condition.
I can do basic walk trot and I need to improve my cantering. I have been on a number of hacks with no serious incidences.
Done no competition work but I'm looking to try.
