Highly skilled equine horse trainer with over 20 years of knowledge and experience including sole charge and management. Disciplines include Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, and Polo. Very calm, patient and confident in the saddle.
I've been in the saddle since I was 10-years-old. Up until the age of 21, I spent the majority of my time buying young horses, putting them through quality training and selling them onto 5* homes. Many of these horses were a challenge that taught me the power of empathy. I successfully competed in eventing for several years until moving to Australia.
In 2013 I was offered a position at Australia's Ellerston Polo Club, working with some of the world's best polo players and horses.
My polo career expanded over the years, equipping me with management, sole charge and other highly responsible skills, including veterinary assistance.
I have also been on a journey into discovering the power in understanding equine well-being, with the study of equine craniosacral therapy at Sydney Polo Club in 2015.
I have spent the summer as a freelance groom and rider travelling around the UK. I am now searching for a long-term position as a horse trainer, working in a team environment.
The polo industry has certainly equipped me with time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once. I am passionate about the way my work is presented and believe that the better the condition of the horse, the better they feel and perform. Other skills that I have attained include training horses to transition into a new discipline, sole charge responsibilities, clipping, feeding, mucking out as well as many other tasks that require a highly organised mindset.
Polo, Eventing, Young Horses, Dressage
Intermediate eventing.
