Experience

I havent worked with horses full time since I was 18 but I started with horses when I was 4. Although my approach towards horses has changed from what I was taught in my childhood my passion remains! I'm a qualified barber (very good with a pair of clippers!) but long term, horses is what I want to do full time.

I would consider myself to have a solid knowledge across all aspects of horse care with a growing interest in equine bio mechanics. I'm particularly good at turning out because im a trained hairdresser!

I'm a reliable and reasonable person, I work hard and I'm committed. I'm a quick learner so as long as I'm given clear instructions at first, i'll likely be able to compete a task unaided all yard duties competent first aider clipping/plaiting backing/rehabbing/retraining

I come from a team chasing background but these days I’m particularly interested in classical/academic dressage and liberty and am eager to learn whatever I can.

I would feel confident working with/riding any type of horse, what concerns me more is the scrutiny of others! I’ve been told by many that my training process is ‘too slow’ but in my experience solid foundations make for a balanced and well adapted riding horse.
