Equine Work Experience

Lifetime horse person. British Horse Society Horsemaster's Certification. Passionate lecturer and instructor for over 7 years for a university equine studies program. Teach equine rehab and therapy; anatomy; etc. Many years riding dressage, eventing, gaited horses, starting young horses. Licensed by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission for Kentucky Thoroughbred Race Trainer's License (7 years). Trained, raced, conditioned Thoroughbreds for race careers. Hands on equine therapist, body worker, proficient in Laser, Ultrasound, E-Stim, PEMF, magnetic blankets and massage/acupressure. Have written two award winning equine books; travel internationally as a clinician (2010 World Equestrian Games, Equitana USA and Pacific Rim; Equine Affaire Expos Ohio and California; numerous US state expos and conferences). Created and founded Women & Horses Workshops and equipment. Consultant in every aspect of the horse industry.

Specialities

Teaching in the classroom, hands on ground work, conditioning, rehabilitation and therapy of performance and race horses. Online teaching and tutoring. I turn out with a very high standard of grooming and conditioning. I have supervised as many as 35 students in a semester with hands on rehab and therapy training skills. I managed a sport horse training barn with 6-8 horses of all ages and breeds for 3 years which lead to starting yearlings and two year old Thoroughbreds.

Have ridden and competed in hunters/jumpers; eventing; dressage and also ridden western horse sports; driven draft horses; ridden gaited horses such as American saddlebreds and Kentucky Mountain horses. Specialty in taking on difficult horses and rehabilitating them physically, mentally and spiritually.

Competed in Saddleseat, Dressage, Eventing and Hunt Seat on a regional level in the United States.
