Eager rider and former horse owner looking for work in the Southeast Florida area/ West Palm. I have been around horses my entire childhood and am looking to gain experience in the equine industry now that I am older. I am a quick learner, easily able to adapt, and have a natural passion for horses.

General yard duties, hacking out, assisting with veterinary care, organisation of staff. Supervising and supplementing the learning of students, allocating duties and horses to be used for practicals. Stock take and ordering new stock.
Worked for one year on a livery/riding school yard with usual duties. Worked for a short period with a dressage rider on his competition yard - general yard work, gained experience in dealing with young stallions and competition horses. For the last two years, I have worked for Writtle University College, starting out as a casual member of staff based on Lordships Stud. Here I gained skills including youngstock handling, stallion handling, broodmare and stallion management, foaling, backing young horses. At Lordships Stud, presentation was important and I've raised my own standards having worked there. Following on from this, I worked at Cow Watering Campus, the University's rehabilitation and training centre, as a casual member of staff. Here I developed skills working with a range of horses on a busy and thriving yard. More recently, I became Assistant Yard Coordinator for Cow Watering Campus. This current role requires management and people skills.
Have been described as a 'competent novice'. Unfortunately have not had any tuition recently, however, hack out 2/3 times a week with my current role which is keeping me ticking over!
