Since 2019, I have been volunteering for Mid Cheshire Riding for the Disabled. This has allowed me to start my progression with teaching lessons which I thoroughly enjoy. I was given the opportunity to improve my team working and communication skills by preparing horses and ponies for lessons and shows, competeing genral yard tasks, and working the horses in for schooling and competitions. I have been a part of East Cheshire Pony Club since 2016, this has given me copious opportunities for emersing myself within the industry, riding with new trainers and at new venues, as well as meeting many people who have supported me with my equestrian career.
I often compete at Novice/Elementary British Dressage and I am training medium movements at home. I showjump courses of 1.10m we ease and confidence, and I enjoy cross country schooling every month. During COVID, I retrained my showjumping pony to a dressage one which allowed me to expand my skills about the training scale and how to improve the horse's way of going positively.
