I am a keen aspiring groom who has been working with horses on a voluntary basis, and am now looking for a full or part-time opportunity to progress my career and gain more experience. I am confident around horses and have been developing essential skills through volunteering at a livery yard and with a rescue. Ideally, I would be looking for a role in the Basingstoke area while I'm learning to drive, but happy to consider a live-in position in the wider Hampshire region or further afield.
My name is Daisie, I am 18 years old and have owned horses for the past 5 years. I have previously worked on an international showjumping yard and am keen to pursue my next job. I am open to any discipline and able to adapt to every yards standards and needs.

First aid. Have registered to do my hgv license.
Am keen to do my BHS stages at some point but this is not a priority given the outlay and other study commitments. I have learnt a lot from practical experiences, anecdotes from others and independent reading.
Ideally looking for part time yard work with some riding whilst I complete a physio degree.
Uses to the cut and thrust of busy yards but also have never lost sight of importance of providing detailed one to one care for each horse.
Thanks to my physio background I have enjoyed helping in the rehabilitation of conditions like kissing spines through progressive polework and ground exercises. I believe it is helpful for all horses.
Ridden racehorses through to ponies. No specific preference but am a sensible quiet rider.
Jumped my ex racer up to 1.10 when I lived in Australia for a couple of years.
