When I was sixteen I started studying at what in Sweden is called "Gymnasium", where one specializes in a specific line of work for three years. I chose the National Sports Education Program, specilizing in dressage. We studied training, competing, anantomy, physiology and farm keeping. We were taught to drive a tractor, the excavator and simillar equipment.
Equine Work Experience
I was only eight years old when I got my first pony with which I competed smaller show jumping competitons. After two years I switched to dressage so I went to Germany and bought a beautiful four year old dressage pony. I spent hours training both me and my pony for competiton and we had many wins together. in 2012 we qualified to the Swedish championships. Whilst attending "gymnasium", I worked at the Björkliden Farm, training and competing horses in all ages and levels of education. One wich I bought for myself, a beautiful ten-year old hannoveraner gelding. I bought him in April 2013, and in August the same year we competed in the swedish championships for juniors. I then ranked at 21st best junior in all of Sweden. We also qualified and competed in 2014, we were came in fourth place in the B-finals. We competed all the way up to Prix St. George. In total, between ages 16 and 19 I averaged around 50 hours a week in the stable.
I am mainly a dressage rider, in which I have competed since I was ten years old up to Prix St. George level. I competed in the Swedish championship, once with my pony and twice as a junior.
I have also trained show jumping continuously.
Type of Ride Work
The year I tuned twenty I worked as a groom in Mijas at the Costa del Sol spring tour for 5 weeks and had sole charge of ten horses. From south of Spain we loaded all the horses into two trucks and travelled to Germany to their home base. I stayed a few months working for them at the German farm where they had another 15 horses that I me and the home groom took care of.
I have competed in an uncountable amount of competitions and championships throughout the years, but counting the prizes on my wall, there has been at least 128. Most notable was the Swedish National Championships 2011, 2013, & 2014, where I in 2013 was ranked the 21st best junior rider in Sweden,.
In 2014 I was ranked the second best junior dressage rider in the county, after competing with a five year old horse that I broke myself.
