Til summer(2018) I will be educated animalkeeper on level 2. Level 2 means I have authority to give injections with medication after ordination of a veterinarian. (IN SWEDEN, I do not know about the laws in other countries) This is a separate course I took 2017.
Currently studying the animal keeper program with extended veterinary care Course.
I have ridden and been around horses since I was little and recently my interest in sports and care involving horses has grown. I have experience with Icelandic horses and warmbloded horses of varying sizes and levels of training.
The summer of 2017 i worked at a breeding farm with approximately 200 horses and some other farm animals. I managed the farm while the owner was away for three weeks. I cared for the horses and the foals, herded the sheep, took care of the garden, showed horses for sale, trained some new horses for trekking with turists. We also rounded up flocks of horses from the pastures while mounted to count and split them into smaller flocks. I learned a lot in a short period of time and hope that that knowledge will come to use.
I haven't got a lot of experience with competitions and big events. I have ridden dressage routines in front of judges for training porpose but would love to learn more and gain new experiences.
My speciality is icelandic horses.
Mainly English styled dressage, some jumping and a lot of icelandic riding.
No competition experiences. Only smaller events for training porpose. Dressage routines L:c1, L:c2 and L:b1. (Sweden)
