I have a three year education in animalcare with extra courses in veterinary care. Mostly of cats and dogs but also of horses and other larger animals.
Currently studying the animal keeper program with extended veterinary care courses.
I have ridden and been around horses since I was little and my interest in horses kepp growing. I have experience with Icelandic horses and warmbloded horses of varying sizes and levels of training. From untrained yongsters to retierd competionhorses.
Last summer i worked at a breeding farm with approximately 200 horses and some other farm animals. I managed the farm while the owner was away for three weeks. I cared for the horses and the foals, herded the sheep, took care of the garden, showed horses for sale, trained some new horses for trekking with turists. We also rounded up flocks of horses from the pastures while mounted to count and split them into smaller flocks. I learned a lot in a short period of time and hope that that knowledge will come to use.
I haven't got a lot of experience with competitions and big events. I have ridden dressage routines in front of judges for training porpose but would love to learn more and gain new experiences.
My speciality is icelandic horses.
Mainly English styled dressage, some show jumping and a lot of icelandic-type riding.
No competition experiences. Only smaller events for training porpose. Dressage routines L:c1, L:c2 and L:b1. (Sweden)
