Equine Work Experience

In the past, I held a job at a boarding stable where I worked solo during the weekends and occasionally on weekdays for about one year. My responsibilities were varied, ranging from bringing horses in and out, feeding them, and ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness of the stable, to riding horses that were for sale and brought in by my boss.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to serve as a groom for a competing rider in Belgium for a month, assisting in the training and competitive routines.

Then I've also tackled diverse tasks like exercising different horses, jumping horses for different riders, teaching horses to jump, and breaking in a horse.

Specialities

I am mainly specialized and have good experience with young horses, some stallion experience from the ground but not mounted. No experience of handling foals.

I excel in teamwork within stables, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and taking care of any stable tasks, keeping the surroundings clean, organized and well-maintained. I am also adept at working in high-pressure scenarios where there's a need to get a lot done in a short span of time.

Type of Ride Work

I possess expertise with a wide variety of horses! This includes young horses, green horses and problem horses. For instance, horses that are very insecure when jumping, or that have a lot of nerve and are prone to stress.

However, my primary experience lies with younger horses, which I find particularly engaging and highly enjoyable! My skills range from breaking in horses to teaching them to jump.

While my expertise lie in jumping, I of course incorporate a lot of flat work!

Competition Details

Unfortunately, I don't have any competition experience myself, but I have been involved as a groom a lot. Especially here at home in Sweden, from small to large competitions but also a little abroad.
